"Hello, are Dr. Duncan's test results ready?"
Shaun walked over.
"Oh, isn't this Dr. Duncan's shadow doctor?"
A female doctor in the lab glanced up at Shaun and smiled. "Dr. Duncan is letting you talk now?"
"Dr. Duncan only told me not to speak in front of patients. Temporarily."
Shaun looked away. "I am not a shadow doctor."

Seeing that Shaun was a little angry, the female doctor immediately smiled. "Dr. Shaun Murphy."
Ever since he had started following Adam, Shaun's name had become known to everyone.
Adam's completely different method of teaching Shaun, compared to how he taught others, had become a favorite topic of gossip.
"The results will be ready soon. Sit over there and wait."
Looking at the uncomfortable Shaun and recalling what she had heard about him, the female doctor sympathetically pointed to the chair across from her. "And my name is Carly."

Shaun twisted his hands together as he walked over and obediently sat down to wait. "My name is Shaun."
"So, Shaun, does Dr. Duncan really give you extra lessons after work every day?"
Carly turned back to check the testing progress. Seeing there was still some time, she could not help leaning against the windowsill and gossiping with Shaun through the glass.

"He also introduced me to his friends. They are very interesting friends. I like them."

Carly was genuinely shocked now. "Dr. Duncan even takes you to gatherings with his friends?"
