The car finally arrived at the restaurant.
After getting out of the car.
"Help me."
Howard walked beside Leonard and quietly begged for help.
"Are you kidding? You were always the ladies' man!"
Leonard teased.
"This isn't funny!"
Howard whispered, "I'm really out of options. Help me!"
"I already risked Penny dumping me to introduce someone to you."
Leonard shook his head. "You can't expect me to help you date her too, can you?"
As he said that, the corners of his mouth nearly stretched to his ears.
The former ladies' man among the four of them, Howard, now needed his help with romance. That proved Leonard was the real ladies' man!
"Fine, don't help."
Seeing Leonard like this, Howard's expression changed. "Anyway, our agreement was that you'd help me find my girl. If this doesn't work out, there'll be a next time. Unless you and Penny break up too, you have to keep helping me find one!"

Leonard's smile froze. He glanced at Howard, whose persistence carried a clear threat, and nodded helplessly. "Fine. I'll try."
They entered the restaurant.
Everyone sat down.
The waiter brought over the menus.
After everyone had ordered, the atmosphere fell silent again.
Bernadette was rather reserved.

He knew he couldn't let this wordless awkwardness continue, so he kept shooting Leonard looks to urge him on.

Leonard took a sip of water and spoke up.
"Yeah."
Bernadette nodded, her answer extremely brief.
"That's great!"
Leonard smiled. "Howard has always wanted to do a PhD, but he's never been able to make up his mind."
