Once today's exam was over and the results came out tomorrow, their year-long internship would officially end.
A year ago, Chief of Surgery Richard had brought them to the surgical practice room and lectured them.
"Eight of you will transfer to easier departments, five will crack under pressure, and two will be advised to leave. This is your starting line, your arena. Where you go from here depends entirely on yourselves."
