The next day.

It was new intern day at the Medical Center.

Veterans like Adam arrived early. As they changed, Jessie, the Chief of Surgery's secretary, pushed open the door and raised the envelopes in her hand. "The moment of truth is here."

"Our scores!"

Everyone immediately gathered around.

"Adam, this is yours."

Jessie handed Adam his envelope first. "Congratulations on passing your internship and becoming an official resident at the Medical Center."

"Thank you."

Adam accepted it with thanks, but before he could open it, Cristina snatched it away and tore it open.

"Damn it! You actually got a perfect score after studying for such a short time!"

Cristina looked at the score on the sheet. Though she was used to it by now, she still could not help crying out.

"Was there ever any doubt?"

Adam teased in high spirits.

"Dr. Yang, this is yours."

Jessie, the Chief of Surgery's secretary, continued handing out the score sheets one by one. "Grey, this is yours. O'Malley... this is yours."

Adam immediately noticed Jessie's hesitation. Seeing the fleeting pity in her eyes, he could not help sighing inwardly. Poor George O'Malley.
