After hearing her husband's words, the young woman holding the baby burst into tears.

Adam sighed.
The happiness of an ordinary person had been within reach, yet because of others' greed and brutality, such a terrible price had been paid.
The risk Captain Jude had taken was no small one.
Infection was no joke.
