"She wasn't interested in me."
Adam teased, "You're the one she has her heart set on. The moment we said anything bad about you, she got anxious."

Dr. House was completely unfazed by Adam's teasing. "It's the charm of viruses and the mysteries of the human body. Before I met her, I never imagined something like this could happen."

Adam sighed. "That 'alternative' vitality from her brain damage has made her glow with energy. She's practically every old man's dream. Do you remember Rachel?"
