Medical Center.
Operating Room.
"You came well prepared."
Adam did not announce the start right away. Instead, he looked at The Three Little Ones and Hiyama, who might become Cristina's substitute.
Lexie and Hiyama immediately shifted their bodies awkwardly.
Carter chuckled.
"Don't laugh either."
Adam looked at Carter. "Have you had any water?"

Carter's smile froze.
"Do you know why I'm asking?"
Adam looked at him.
"I do... If I don't drink water for too long, it'll disrupt my body's stability, and my hands might cramp."

"But this is not an unavoidable circumstance.

"The four of you can take turns assisting while remaining in peak condition."
"I'll step out for a moment."
"Me too."
Adam's words made Hiyama and Lexie blush. They hurried out as well.
But both of them moved very awkwardly.
Lexie nearly tripped.
"They're both wearing diapers... Dr. Duncan, how did you figure that out?"
Dr. Shepherd first came to a realization, then looked at Adam teasingly.

"..."
Adam's mouth twitched.
Of course it was because he had sharp eyes and keen observation skills.
