"I hope so." The policewoman, however, did not have much confidence in this. After all, a leopard cannot change its spots, and Liu Chuang had a whole stack of criminal records at the station; he was not someone who would change easily.
Seeing this, Lian Feng said nothing more, and left the scene directly with her subordinates.

"Ow, ouch, it hurts. I-I think it must be because I've always been doing bad things?" That was all Liu Chuang could possibly think of.
"Hmph, so you know you've been doing bad things all this time?" Lian Feng asked with a cold smile.
"I-I know! I-I'm such a piece of human trash!" Terrified of getting hit, Liu Chuang answered immediately.
"That's right, you were indeed a piece of human trash before. But we are magnanimous and tolerant, so we've decided to give you one last chance to turn over a new leaf. Do you accept it or not?" Lian Feng asked with a stern expression.
"I accept, I accept!" Liu Chuang answered hastily.
"Good. I won't hide my identity anymore; I might as well tell you, I am a military officer. This time, I was entrusted by Marshal Du Kao to guide you onto the righteous path."
"The Marshal thinks that you might be raw material for the future, so he wants you to join us and serve the country."
