Lord Linley smiled and said, "Dennis has finished his seclusion."
Soon, a figure in a Gray Robe flew over, beaming with high spirits as he laughed, "My luck was good this time. I've gained insight into another characteristic of the Destruction Rule. Even if I'm still a distance away from breaking through to the High-God realm, I've taken a massive step forward."
Dennis was in a fantastic mood at this moment, feeling quite proud and pleased with himself.
However, after chatting with them for a few moments and learning that Lord Linley was already fusing his third Law Mystery, Dennis felt a bit defeated!
"I..."
Dennis couldn't help but shake his head with a wry smile, feeling both admiration and helplessness as he said, "I've finally recognized reality. There's really no comparing myself to a genius like you, Lord Linley. But as for fighting for the position of the second strongest in our Tianlan Tribe, I reckon I still have a good chance."
As soon as these words were out, Thomas and Donald were displeased, and they both laughed and cursed as they voiced their own stances.
"In your dreams, the position of the second strongest in the Tianlan Tribe is definitely mine."
"Nonsense, it's clearly me."
The three of them joked around for a while before Lord Linley said, "Have Jess and the others mobilize. We'll go to the Red Demon Tribe and have a talk first."
Thomas, Donald, and Dennis all smiled and nodded in agreement; if they could subdue the enemy without fighting, that would be for the best.
If that didn't work, then they would fight. In a place like Hell, the annexation of tribes was a common occurrence.
The Tianlan Tribe set out en masse, and the news spread rapidly among the low-level Saint Domain members, most of whom wore expressions of worry.
"In battles between God-level powerhouses, we can't be of any use at all. Why must we follow them?"
"You don't understand, do you? The divine power of God-level powerhouses isn't infinite. Even if we Saint Domains are sacrificed as cannon fodder, as long as we can waste some of the opponent's divine power, it's worth it."
Hundreds of thousands of people moved like a surging Black Tide, following orders as they set off toward the Red Demon Tribe.
Lord Linley looked down at the scene with a calm gaze. In truth, bringing these so-called cannon fodder was a helpless move, as it significantly delayed the speed of the God-level powerhouses.
But without the supervision of God-level powerhouses, it wouldn't work either. Any random foreign God-level powerhouse could simply pack them all up and take them away; these Saint Domains were, after all, the property of the tribe.
The Red Demon Tribe had three Mid-level Gods and six Low-level Gods. The Tianlan Tribe had the advantage in the number of Mid-level Gods, but they had two fewer Low-level Gods. If they had to leave at least one behind to watch the tribe, the risk would be greater, so it was safest to bring all the God-level powerhouses along.
"It's a pity we don't have a Metal Life. Otherwise, it would be much more convenient."
Lord Linley felt a sense of helplessness and longing in his heart.
Don't be fooled by the original records where these things seemed as common as dirt; in reality, they were extremely expensive. At least for the current Lord Linley and the Tianlan Tribe, they were true luxury items. Even the most ordinary quality Metal Life cost millions of Ink Stones, and the more expensive ones cost tens or hundreds of millions. It was hard to believe how many God-level powerhouses had the financial resources to purchase them.
"Lord Linley..."
The Four Maids came to his side. Their beautiful, distinct faces showed a hint of nervousness as they carefully made a request. It wasn't anything complicated; they simply hoped to have their parents and relatives arranged in a safer area at the rear of the tribe.
Because they served Lord Linley, they knew the destination and the threat of this expedition, and they were worried their families would become the low-level cannon fodder sent to the front lines to create openings for the God-level battle.
"You may."
Lord Linley agreed readily and immediately sent a voice transmission to Karl, telling him to take the Four Women and make the arrangements.
To Lord Linley, this was nothing more than a single sentence.
"Many thanks, My Lord!"
The eyes of the Four Women moistened with gratitude. They bowed respectfully before leaving with Karl to find their families.
Lord Linley watched their slender backs and smiled indifferently, not caring much about such a small matter. They had served him diligently over the years, so giving them a small favor was only right.
"You... you... you... take these people to the rear of the tribe and settle them in."
Karl cooperated with the Four Women to find their relatives, specifically ordering a manager with Saint Domain Peak strength to handle the arrangements personally.
Under the envious and jealous gazes of those around them, the selected few were happily moved to the rear. This area was concentrated with pregnant women and young children; many weren't even Saint Domains and didn't even qualify as cannon fodder—they were entirely the property of the tribe.
On the outskirts of the Red Demon Tribe.
Marshall and Jeff were leading over a dozen Saint Domain Limits, performing their daily patrol mission.
Jeff asked with a look of confusion and disdain, "Big Brother Marshall, why do we have to bring these useless Saint Domains along on our mission? If we encounter a God-level powerhouse, they have no power to resist."
Marshall laughed heartily and explained, "You've just become a god, so you don't understand these things yet. The biggest gap between us God-level powerhouses and Saint Domains isn't the Law Mystery, but the Divine Domain granted by the Godhead. If we encounter other God-level powerhouses and our domains cancel each other out, having these Saint Domain Limits here can, to some extent, share the pressure and waste some of the opponent's divine power. Aside from the rapid absorption during the moment of becoming a god, the daily replenishment of a God-level powerhouse's divine power is very slow. As long as they can achieve this, their value as cannon fodder is well earned."
Jeff suddenly realized and laughed triumphantly, "I understand now. As long as we can distract a God-level powerhouse for even a split second, we can win ourselves a sliver of a chance."
The two chatted and laughed as they patrolled, occasionally looking around with a casual and relaxed demeanor, not even bothering to release their Spiritual Sense.
In Hell, the utility of Spiritual Sense was often not as far-reaching as observing with the naked eye.
Not far away, about 430 meters out, Lord Linley was hidden in the crevice of a giant rock. He released his Mid-level God Spiritual Sense, and by relying on the amplitude of his Magnetic Field Power, he could clearly grasp every move of these two Red Demon Tribe Low-level Gods, while they remained completely unaware and ignorant.
Lord Linley thought to himself, "It seems the strength of the Red Demon Tribe has been updated; there is one extra Low-level God. Fortunately, it doesn't have much impact on me."
At the very moment he made his decision.
"Whoosh!"
A scorching electric light flashed, rapidly crossing the distance of over four hundred meters. A figure descended aggressively, wreathed in thunderous might!
"Oh no, an enemy! And a Mid-level God at that!"
The faces of Marshall and Jeff, which had been relaxed and laughing a second ago, turned deathly pale with terror. Their Divine Domains were suppressed, and their movements became sluggish—this was proof of the opponent's strength.
"Swish! Swish!"
Linley did not waste a single word of nonsense on them; the moment they made contact, he swung his blades with thunderous speed, the scorching and domineering Crescent Arc shattering their heads to complete a clean double kill.
One Wind Demigod Divine Spark, one Water Element Divine Spark.
Linley collected them casually, grinned, and looked toward the Saint Domain Limit powerhouses who had been scared witless, releasing his pressure to envelop them as he interrogated, "Tell me honestly, how many God-level powerhouses does your Red Demon Tribe have?"
These Saint Domain ants dared not resist, surrendering one after another to offer up intelligence, "Aside from the two Low-level Gods you killed, my lord, the Red Demon Tribe has three Mid-level Gods and five Low-level Gods."
"The leader of the Red Demon Tribe is called Diego... the vice-leaders are Simba... and Corey... Spare our lives, my lord!"
Linley nodded in satisfaction; this matched the intelligence he had previously obtained. After all, when it came down to it, this was not exactly a secret. In Hell, displaying a portion of one's strength and flexing one's muscles was enough to deter many potential enemies.
