One of Void Island's nine great death zones.
If First Hall of Sin's location was taken as north, then this place was the extreme south. The two lay across more than half of Void Island's Giant Kingdom, facing each other from afar.
Azure Marsh had originally been a muddy expanse of blue-green swamp. Nothing grew here; any sentient being that stepped into it would be swallowed whole by this death zone.
Yet at this moment, Azure Marsh, silent for who knew how many years, was in utter disarray. Frost had splashed everywhere, lightning serpents slithered about, and sword aura crisscrossed the land.
Boom!
When the final tribulation lightning crashed down from the nine heavens and the dark clouds receded.
In midair, a charred figure gently released the longsword in her hand. She stood atop the Xuancang Divine Sword, gasping heavily, fragrant sweat streaming down her body.
Not far above her head, the Half-Saint Godhood radiating mysterious seven-colored light spun without pause. As though it had absorbed enough energy, it cast down a ray of restorative light, illuminating the woman below.
