"Ghost!"
"A vicious ghost that wielded a sword—Uncle Jin was beheaded in a single stroke?"
"What a pale ghost! Scared the hell out of me... Wait, that's a person, right? A human face?"
"Uncle Jin was a Taixu, and he just died like that?"
"His whole body's gone black. Could his soul have been cut apart too? Or was it eaten by that White-Faced Ghost?"
"Are they putting on an act?"
"Look! There really seems to be a scar on Uncle Jin's chest..."
"This ghost is no ordinary foe. Clearly, the Ghost Buddha Realm's aberration is about to give birth to a Saint-level being. This Saint advises you, Dao Master, to go home."

Uncle Jin had been decapitated, and a pale face had suddenly appeared before her.
When that ghost spoke human words, she could even smell the rotten stench of decay. Her thoughts froze solid:
"Uncle Jin is dead..."
"A vicious ghost carrying a sword..."
"It has human intelligence. It can speak..."
The White-Faced Ghost's jaw was still propped atop Uncle Jin's headless corpse, barely one body-length away from Matchmaker.
It sniffed greedily, intoxicated by the scent. Its long tongue slipped out, nearly licking Matchmaker's cheek.
"Run!"
An urgent roar came from afar. "Miss! Matchmaker! Wake up and run!"
Matchmaker turned and ran.
"Hiss, hiss, hiss..."
The White-Faced Ghost relished the thrill of the hunt. It did not hurry to give chase, merely splitting its lips
