Meeting Nicholas II

After attending Dmitri's coronation ceremony, Arthur chose to head to nearby St. Petersburg, taking Queen Dowager Marie back to visit her family.

No matter what, Russians were an important component of Australasia's population, and the relations between Australasia and Tsarist Russia were still worth maintaining.

Leaving Queen Dowager Marie to chat with the little ones and members of the Russian Imperial Family, Arthur entered a meeting room with Nicholas II.

"Arthur, long time no see!" Nicholas II said with considerable emotion as he looked at Arthur, who was in his prime and full of vigor.

"Long time no see, Cousin Nicholas," Arthur said, equally filled with emotion.

During their last meeting, Nicholas II's status was still higher than Arthur's, but now Arthur's status among the European Royal Family had surpassed that of Nicholas II.

Although Arthur and Nicholas II were of the same generation, Nicholas II was much older than Arthur, and the difference in status between the two of them also made them feel the emotion brought about by the changing situation.
