The economic recovery was not only reflected in the Allied Powers and the major powers, but also in Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the defeated nations of the First World War.

Because of the so-called contract manufacturing model, German industry welcomed a recent period of recovery, and its industrial scale was already equivalent to that of Germany in 1905.

Although there was still some distance compared to the pre-war industrial scale, compared to the tragic state of being restricted after the war, Germany had at least ushered in a recovery in terms of industry as well.

The Austro-Hungarian Empire presented a similarly obvious contrast. Although the Austro-Hungarian Empire had lost Hungary, the core of its industry remained in the regions of Austria and Bohemia.

Currently, the industrial scale of the Austro-Hungarian Empire had recovered to the level of 1910. Aside from losing Hungary, their condition was much better than Germany's.

However, there was an obvious characteristic to the industrial and economic recovery of these countries: the actual value of their currency was decreasing, and the value of their currency was continuously depreciating.

Although it seemed that the economies of various countries were constantly growing, and even the incomes of the populace were steadily increasing.

The problem, however, was that as the value of the currency continually decreased, the purchasing power of the people's wages was actually constantly declining.

Although such economic growth created a false prosperity, this prosperity was like a bubble, and it could shatter at any moment.

The incomes of the common people seemed to have increased, but their living standards were constantly dropping. If all walks of life still could not see this crisis and continued to increase the production scale of manufactured goods, the occurrence of an economic crisis would become inevitable.
