Little Mustache was sitting in his office, nervously waiting for the good news brought by the German Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Allowing the army to occupy the Rhineland demilitarized zone was a bold decision. It might even provoke a world war.
Although Little Mustache was insane, he had not completely lost his reason at this point. Yet the fact that he could still make such a reckless move while remaining rational proved that, once he became completely unhinged, he would make decisions even more daring and shocking.
About half an hour later, the German Minister of Foreign Affairs personally arrived at the German Government to report to Little Mustache, stating that the British and French ambassadors were already sending messages back to their respective countries.
Little Mustache nodded. The development of the situation was still within his expectations.
After thinking for a while, Little Mustache instructed his Minister of Foreign Affairs, "Invite the domestic and foreign media to the Parliament. I'm going to give an impromptu speech."
A little later, at the German Parliament.
Surrounded by numerous domestic and foreign media, watched by many members of Parliament, and under the gaze of countless curious German civilians nearby, Little Mustache began his stirring speech.
"Gentlemen, ladies, and all my fellow members of the great and glorious Germanic people! In my capacity as Chancellor of the German Empire, I announce a momentous piece of good news:
"The alliance between France and Austria has severely hampered Germany's industrial production. While being forced to defend against the Franco-Austrian Alliance, we must also face the threat from Russia.
"Out of consideration for the interests of all German civilians, three hours ago I ordered the army to occupy the Rhineland demilitarized zone, officially abolishing the demilitarized-zone regulations.
"From this day forward, German civilians may walk freely
