If he kept fighting, he would only embarrass himself further. He raised his bloodied hand.
A22 immediately stopped as well.
"Thank you for going easy on me." A22 smiled sweetly and stepped aside.
"You're very strong. I'm no match for you in magic, and in terms of strength... I seem to be no match either. Is this... what being a genius means?" Thinking of how hard he had worked to reach this point, it suddenly seemed insignificant before this girl.
It really was incredibly discouraging.
"Mr. Pat, you're the genius. I simply started learning earlier than you did," A22 said modestly.
"You're making me embarrassed."
She returned to the short-haired girl's side.
"Big Sister is amazing."
The girl practically worshipped her now, her eyes sparkling like stars.
Of course, to her, A22's victory had been inevitable. After all, this was someone who had defeated a Golden Skeleton. Even the magic tower had nearly been destroyed by the aftermath of their battle. If someone like her could not defeat a guard captain, that would have been the truly unbelievable thing.
"If you're a student from outside, would you like me to recommend you to the academy head?" Pat asked sincerely.
"No need. I'm just here to look around and exchange ideas. Actually, I've already learned quite a lot during this time. Next, I'll simply take a look around the academy."
"I see. In that case... how about adding each other as friends?"
"Emmm... sure."
A22 helplessly added his account.
Next, they left this place and had the short-haired girl lead her to their destination.
"There's a miniature chapel inside, with endless statues of gods."
Standing at the entrance and seeing the sculpture inside, which was slightly less abstract than the God of Light Prayer, A22 nodded faintly.
She would pass on
