"So, Shade, this is why you came to see me?"

The soft orange cat wriggled happily in Shade's arms. She liked being held by Shade, especially when they were out.
"No, divining Mia is still just an excuse."
Shade shook his head, looking rather troubled.
"Then what did you come to see me for? I thought that after shooting the city's Police Department chief, you would choose to go home and hide for a few hours."
Luvia joked as she set down the paper in her hands.
"Two things. First, Doctor asked me to notify you all that the Study Group is suspended for a week. You know, Doctor's patient with gluttony turned into a container for an evil god. Doctor is under investigation now, so the Study Group is on hold."
Luvia nodded and brushed a stray lock of hair from beside her ear.
"I'm glad Doctor's operation didn't go wrong this time. Letting you follow him was indeed the right decision. Go notify the others, then. Seeing how troubled you looked just now, I thought you had learned something about evil gods again."
