Playing cards with someone who cheated was quite a novel experience for Shade. After resting with Miss Princess for a while, the two left the tavern and headed for their next destination.

The Seven Broomsticks Tavern was one of the larger gathering places for local Ring Arcanists. Next, Miss Princess wanted to introduce Shade to several relatively small Ring Arcanist black markets.

They were still in the lively, chaotic Dock Area. After leaving the tavern, they removed their masks and walked normally along the street toward the harbor. Miss Princess led the way while Shade followed behind. He had been wondering whether to find a topic to talk about, but the Sorceress wearing Ruby Earrings took the initiative to strike up a conversation.

Miss Princess seemed to have visited many places. She spoke with Shade about the local customs and political systems throughout the Old Continent. Whether it was Kasonlik's unique Council system, the peculiar preferences of the Grand Duchesses of Delarion's southern principalities, the strange customs of the small tribes along the kingdom's eastern coast, or the environmental protection laws of the primeval forests in the south of the Old Continent, she could say a few words about all of them.

From the Northern Ice Cap to the primeval forests in the south, from Coldwater Port on the continent's West Coast to the Shattered Islands on its East Coast, Miss Princess knew about almost all of it. In fact, if not for her status as a correspondence Ring Arcanist, she would have liked to visit the New Continent as well, to see its unusual natural scenery and magnificent ancient ruins.

"Not long ago, I went to Kasonlik. Of course, it was only a short trip."

Miss Princess stood with Shade at an intersection, waiting for a line of carriages
