The food was swallowed by Miss Princess. Without divine power or a strange soul like Shade's, the power of just one bean nearly made the Sorceress lose herself in endless desire.

"This..."

She could not imagine how Shade had just eaten the whole thing.

"Not enough!"

the Captain said, violently tapping the table with his fingers and urging her to continue.

Miss Princess gritted her teeth and took another bean. After hesitating for a moment, she tossed it into her mouth.

"Oh!"

She had to brace herself against the table to remain standing. For an instant just now, she had almost felt the ship seize her mindless soul.

"Not enough!"

the captain said again. The Fishman's face was especially ugly, and there was actually the sound of waves in his voice.

Miss Princess looked towards Shade's back, touched her Ruby Earring, then pulled out a slender red ribbon and wrapped it around the third bean before tossing it into her mouth.

The evil spirits watched her. The cold, damp wind rapidly drained the warmth from their bodies. She kept her eyes tightly shut, only opening them after a long while. The red-haired girl had reached her limit.

"Do you know what I'm going to say?"

the captain shouted. The nine rings in hand glittered, while the restless sailors let out even more terrifying, sinister noises.

Miss Princess clenched her fists.

"What do you want to say?"

"What you ate..."

"Not enough!"

It was as though someone had rung a tiny bell beside their ears. The light, pleasant chime announcing the start of the feast spread out, its rippling sound instantly suppressing every other noise nearby.

"What?"

Blood-red light had appeared in the cabin at some point. Shade, who had been lying on the table, pressed one hand against it.
