Halos of light spread outward in layer after layer, illuminating the darkness, evaporating the pus, and shattering the crystals. The demons retreated in terror, yet as though in slow motion, they were melted away layer by layer by that light amid their grotesque poses.
Through Shade's hand, the strongest Witch of the Fifth Epoch made the light sweep across the entire Darkness Domain. The crystals melted away layer by layer, the darkness gradually receded, the wandering demons melted in the light, and the people outside the distant forest stared in astonishment at everything around them.
The Crystalline Forest, along with all the massive crystal stones beneath the tree and in the clearing that sealed humans within them, flew out of the forest in the light. Then, their crystal surfaces melted away, and the Ring Arcanists broke free one by one and regained consciousness.
Including Miss Galina, they could only see terrifying golden light continuously spreading from the center of the forest, driving away the Darkness Domain and gradually restoring the surroundings to normal.
"Is this Feliana's Witch Light?"
Not only Miss Galina, but the old professor from Zaras Academy of Spellcraft, the Twelfth Ring Bloodkin of the Blood Spirit School, and even "Iron Right Hand" Sari Pirot, who had finally rushed back, all recognized exactly what that light was:
"How could it have such power? Has the Speaker of the Witch Council found the path beyond Thirteenth Ring?"
The giant pillar supporting the Darkness Domain gradually dissolved. With the domain's power destroyed, the relic would fall into Slumber and awaken again in the next millennium.
The light at his fingertips gradually subsided, and the golden radiance gathered back into Shade.
He gasped for breath. In truth, because Miss Feliana had lent him part of her strength just now, Shade's entire
