Lost in thought as he reached the second floor, Shade was pounced on by Mia. While holding the cat, he heard the blonde young lady in the study speak.
"What did Old Dad John come for?"
Shade asked while holding the excited cat. Mia suspiciously sniffed at the front of his clothes, then sneezed.
"Old Dad said the special blood you wanted had been found. He paid the deposit for you, and the blood has already arrived at his pawnshop.
