In truth, Miss Teresa did not know exactly what the "Formless Spawn" were either. While the group was resting, the ground suddenly began to shake, as though something were burrowing up from underground. Then they were attacked by Invisible Enemies. Since there were simply too many enemies surrounding the camp at the time, Miss Violet led them in a temporary retreat.

But Miss Violet was, after all, a Thirteenth Order Witch. Once she had temporarily escaped the enemy encirclement, she quickly sensed the "nest" of those monsters. She therefore took her personal maid to deal with the source of the "Formless Spawn," while Miss Teresa and the other five maids held back the pursuing enemies and avoided directly encountering the truth behind this attack.
