Her heart pounded rapidly because of that unusual sensation, blood flowing from it through her entire body, as though her heart had become a sun warming her from within. Struggling to suppress the urge to continue drinking blood, she blushed as she broke free from Shade's embrace, feeling that more than half of her condition had truly recovered.
