"Come Sunday, once I complete the final journey of the key in hand, I'll finally be free from all that tedious housework."

Shade said as he tidied up the campsite.

"Because of that Sloth Thaumaturgy you mentioned—Fiona's Housekeeping Servant?"

Luvia asked with a smile.

"Yes."

Shade said excitedly as he stirred the campfire:

"I still don't know exactly what it does, but even if it can't cook for me, it should at least be able to fold clothes, sweep the floor, or clean the windows, right?"

Although Miss Galina's maids went to Saint Derain Square every Saturday for a thorough cleaning, Shade could not truly ignore the cleanliness of his home during the rest of the week.

"So, will you use that Thaumaturgy to feed the Cat?"

Luvia asked again, and as expected, Shade shook his head.

"Of course not. Feeding the Cat isn't a chore; it's a pleasure. I'm not going to ruin my own enjoyment."

The Girl with Purple Eyes smiled even more brightly.

The two of them had dinner with the Unicorn. Shade even took out a bottle of red wine and clinked glasses with Luvia beside the campfire. The Unicorn wanted to taste the wine too, but Shade refused on the grounds that an "underage Unicorn" could not drink.

But in Luvia's opinion, adult Unicorns were best off not drinking either.

The stars outside the city were brilliant. Shade had thought he would gaze at them with Luvia until late, then spend the night in the tent. Unexpectedly, at only seven in the evening, the familiar whistle of the Elf Girl sounded through the woods.

This time, however, the well-fed little beast did not excitedly run over. Instead, it lazily called out from the forest:

"Ang~"

The sound was just as penetrating, and the whistling stopped.
