"Now that your identities have been confirmed, our story can begin."
The god smiled as he spoke to them. Shade, however, softly said:
"I still don't quite understand what exactly we're supposed to do."
"Traveler under the Moon, please do not be impatient. The night is deep; let us tell it slowly. First, let me introduce the identities of the five travelers—the old horse that knows the way possesses the greatest speed, but it is advanced in years and lacks endurance."
The old knight Zaffir Yellen knew this referred to him. Though he did not understand what it meant, Shade and the witch both knew that it meant the knight in the story ran the fastest but could not keep moving for long.
"The colorful parrot can evade attacks through flight, but its brilliant feathers also make it the easiest target for enemies."
The Bard holding his card instinctively wanted to look up, but his "painful experience" just now reminded him not to do so. Bard Dika Enriques's character could fly, a very convenient ability, but the character's negative trait was that once battle began, it would be targeted by enemies first.
It seemed that everyone possessed both one positive trait and one negative trait.
"The noble Unicorn can remain untouched by evil forces, but the Unicorn's unusual allure will bring more trouble to your journey."
The witch Areira Andreana slightly curled her lips, looking quite proud. Shade noticed that her character was the only one among all the animal characters to possess supernatural power. Her positive trait was powerful, but her negative trait seemed to directly affect everyone else.
"As for that loyal hunting dog, she possesses an exceptional sense of smell capable of detecting all kinds of scents, but her small stature means she cannot fight."
