"This way."
The group of four did not enter the freight depot's office building. Instead, after entering the warehouse, they used the key from the corpse to open the innermost door and descended into the basement.
About a third of the aboveground warehouse was filled with mechanical parts, while the relatively dry underground area stored flour and soybeans. The underground warehouse was not small either. Once they lit the Gas Lamps on the walls, they could see mountains of grain sacks piled into every corner.

Extending from the entrance toward the depths of the underground warehouse, a clear Blood Road appeared before them. This meant that bloodstained things were frequently transported through here.
Led by Shade, the four quickly arrived at the wall on the left side of the underground granary. There was a hidden door in the wall, but they could not find its key for the moment. After Megan confirmed that there were no triggered detection traps on the wall, the Ring Arcanists destroyed it together.
Crash~
Red bricks mixed with dirt tumbled to the ground. A damp, foul-smelling gust rushed out of the hole in the wall, accompanied by the sound of flowing water. When the ball of light used for illumination flew through the opening, they saw an artificially excavated underground cavern, along with dozens of coffins arranged within it.
The coffins were all made of Red Bronze metal, and none had their lids on. Looking inside, they found them filled with black liquid containing kelp, water plants, and dead fish. Most importantly, every coffin held a corpse submerged in the water. Yet the bodies had not swollen into grotesque, bloated shapes. Instead, fish scales had emerged across their skin, fins had grown from their backs, and
