"Death Finger" had a chance of inflicting an instant-death effect. Once it succeeded, death was certain unless the target possessed the corresponding resistance, and even with resistance, they would still suffer severe injuries.
In that instant, the black light erupting from Miss Belinder's fingertips was like an invisible Grim Reaper swinging its scythe through the air. With the reaction speed of that small giant-like werewolf, it should have been able to dodge, but the effects of three negative Thaumaturgies had completely frozen its body in place. The black light struck it head-on.
The next second, the black fur of the werewolf, illuminated by the firelight, turned ash-gray, and even its body began to shrink. Yet it did not die. The werewolf's forced landing made the cave tremble once more. Miss Belinder glanced unhappily at the dust falling from above, while the fallen werewolf curled itself into a ball. The maids immediately rushed forward to pursue it, but the werewolf, its right leg shackled and unable to move, suddenly sprang up again.
It had just bitten off the right leg bound by the ground shackles. But even with only one leg left, its pouncing form remained terrifying.
"Careful!"
When the black chain shot through the nearly lightless cave, there was no trace of it
