As Shade and Emilia continued running hand in hand through the snowy forest, the dream somehow became even more stable. Shade was quite puzzled; he had no idea what he had done:

"But this is good too. So Emilia likes running this much."

But the relic's awakening effect on Emilia was still subtly influencing the dream's evolution. Before long, the two running ahead saw a vast lake appear before the forest, one they could not get around. Emilia slowed her steps, and the scenery around them blurred once more:

"No, no, I can't go into the water!"

"Trust me. As long as you're willing to keep holding my hand and move forward, the road beneath our feet will continue to stretch onward."

Having learned some basic dream knowledge from Doctor Schneider, Shade used his far greater Spiritual Power to try to guide her into imagining that there was a road across the vast lake before them. He had thought it would not be easy, but the running girl immediately smiled when she heard him:

"Yes! I'm willing."

"Shouldn't you be answering, 'Yes, there's a road ahead'?"

Shade wondered in confusion. When he led Emilia to the lakeshore, a road actually rose from beneath the perfectly still lake. It was made of enormous yellow cookies with little holes in them.

"Look, the road really appeared!"

Emilia said excitedly, and the dream stabilized once again. The two of them stepped onto the row of cookies and continued running across the lake.

Emilia seemed even more excited. Under the moonlit night, the Elf Girl's golden hair trailed sparkling motes behind her, and her beautiful emerald eyes emitted a faint glimmer. Her soft little hand
