Crack!
Even though black thunder continuously exploded across the sky, even though the hymns celebrating the god's return rang out so loudly, when that golden thunder resounded high above alongside a dragon's roar, none of those sounds mattered anymore.
The Golden Thunder that shook the entire Sacrificial Ground struck downward. Shade was nowhere to be seen amid the dust scattered throughout the Sacrificial Ground. The thunder struck where Shade had vanished, yet the giant egg within the pillar of light suddenly shifted position and forcibly blocked the strike.
But this did not matter at all, because the final power of the Descendant of the Fourth Son, which had surged forth from the Dragon Nest to bind the god Just Now, suddenly appeared once more from within the Sacrificial Ground.
That golden light shot into the sky, and then, in the clear afternoon heavens, the Three Moons hung distinctly in the west. Silver, yellow, and red—the bright moons remained comforting even during the day.
Yet the moonlight did not shine across the earth. That was the Sun's work. The three beams of moonlight were like spotlights, casting their radiance upon the vague figure amid the dust at the center of the Sacrificial Ground.
As the Golden Thunder formed from the final power of the Descendant of the Fourth Son descended, Shade completely melted into the moonlight. Ochre and blood-red sword light merged together, while golden God's Radiance blended with the gradually igniting crimson First Fire Embers.
Within the merging radiance, countless illusions flashed past in succession—scenes familiar to most people—
