The filthy flesh had already splattered onto the Moonlight Dragon that had been thrown into the sky, but as silver Secret Fire flowed from between its scales, the dragon was enveloped in brilliant flames like the Unicorn had been that morning:
"Corrupt Blood Mist!"
The dragon sprayed the foul-smelling, blood-red poisonous mist down at the giant from the air, but the giant simply bent down, braced itself against the mist, and leaped fiercely upward, smashing a fist into the dragon's abdomen.
The fist passed through the dragon's phantom. The Moonlight Dragon flapped its wings behind it and threw back its head in a roar. A humming, spinning Moonlight Ring emerged above the dragon's head and sliced toward the giant in midair. With nowhere to brace itself, the giant was struck head-on by the Moonlight Ring this time, but it sank into the semi-liquid flesh and could not continue cutting.
The giant crashed to the ground with a rumble. As the flesh on its back writhed, a pair of horrifying blood-red wings actually grew from it. But just as it was about to fly into the air, the red-haired girl's voice rang out, and a Blood Moon fell from above its head:
"Thaumaturgy—Red Moon Fall!"
The giant that had just taken flight was forcibly smashed back to the ground. After the mushroom cloud dispersed, its rapidly regenerating body tried to take to the air once more, only to collide head-on with a silver great sword as large as a mountain.
The Moonlight Dragon gripped the Moonbeam Greatsword in its paws and cleaved toward its head. Just as that head hit the ground, the headless giant raised a hand and unleashed a Soul Power shockwave, forcibly blasting the Moonlight Dragon away again.
