"Nature Worship, Professor. Did you record the runes, Ancient Writings, and murals discovered back then?"
Shade asked again, while Miss Danist pretended to take notes beside him.
The professor replied:
"Although the construction workers damaged some of them, we naturally recorded quite a lot. But unfortunately, according to the investigation rules for temple-like structures, most of those records were taken away and sealed by the local Nature Church at the time. A small portion of the materials was brought back to the school by my mentor."
"That small portion wasn't given to one of his friends abroad, was it?"
Shade asked tentatively. He had expected to hear Professor Tiris Manning's name again, but this time he did not.
"Those materials were left to me after my mentor retired. After I retired, I made a copy. The original manuscripts are still in Wilundell, while I brought my handwritten copies back to Creekwood Town. They are now in the museum archives. I'll have someone take you to see them later. You may copy them, but you may not take them out of here."
The professor answered proudly. Shade offered him a small compliment:
"That truly is remarkable. Your willingness to share is the Foundation Stone upon which history can develop. Oh, Professor, I've heard that strange things sometimes happen during investigations of ancient temple structures. Did you encounter anything like that back then?"
Professor Quintus laughed:
"You young Scholars always like stories like that. Fine, I admit that I was quite curious about such things when I was young as well. But sorry, young man, the investigation process back then was quite dull. We only worked during the day, when everyone was present, and returned to town to rest at night. We had no chance to encounter any abnormal events."
Miss Danist,
