The black-haired human witch had no objection to the sudden operation, nor did she mind being left behind alone. She merely worriedly told the four of them to be careful and not take risks recklessly.

They were currently on the Fourth Floor. To reach the underwater area on the 2nd Floor, they first had to go to the third floor. The distance was not far, and only after the group of four had walked some distance away did Shade speak up to inquire:

"Did one of you light that campfire? Or was it already there when you found this place? I can sense something extraordinary in those flames. They're protecting us."

Iluna shook her head, indicating that she did not know. The wolf girl and the green dragon girl, who had arrived earlier, thought for a moment before answering:

"Miss Maze probably lit it. She was the one who brought us here. She had already been living here for some time before we arrived."

Miss Wilde, with dragon wings on her back, also asked curiously:

"What? Is there something wrong with the fire?"

"No. I think there might be something wrong with Miss Maze."

Shade answered very cautiously, immediately adding:

"I'm not saying she's a bad person. I just feel that she isn't ordinary. Don't worry about it for now. Maybe it's only my imagination."

"Shade, could Miss Maze be...?"

Walking beside Shade, Iluna asked with equal parts anticipation and surprise. Shade had told her that every one of his time adventures involved encountering a god.

"No, no, of course not. Miss Maze definitely isn't."

Shade immediately denied Iluna's bold guess. Although the god of this occasion had indeed not yet appeared, he felt that the four young ladies by the fire could not possibly be disguises of that god.
