Looking up at the Three Moons while the sea breeze blew, Shade saw that the sky above the island was cloudless tonight. It was truly fine weather. He supported the witch as he prepared to send her back, and of course, he did not forget to ask:
"What exactly happened tonight?"
"I..."
Just as Miss Reinhart was about to speak, while secretly observing Shade's expression, she saw his face suddenly change.
A voice spoke beside his ear at that moment:
Outlander, you have sensed a disturbance from Destiny.
Outlander, you have sensed a disturbance from Destiny.
Outlander, you have sensed a disturbance from Destiny.
"She" repeated the same sentence three times, but Shade did not think she was merely emphasizing its importance.
"Three attacks?"
As he thought this, his left hand had already taken the Dice of Destiny from his pocket and tossed it into the night sky. This Keeper of Secrets Level Relic had been a gift from the Academy when Shade enrolled in the school of history, and he had kept it on him ever since discovering that the Ninth Chosen One was "Destiny."
The Outlander's unique Destiny, combined with the Relic's properties, could help him resist most fate-type attacks.
He had used this Relic before to withstand an attack from The Puppeteer's Script. But this time, after the die with its faint crack was thrown into the night sky, it actually hovered at its highest point and spun continuously, as though several different forces were turning it together.
The witch noticed the strange phenomenon as well. Though she did not understand what Shade was doing, as the Whisper Element grew denser with the die's rotation, she vaguely realized that there might have been a reason for her "Bad Luck" tonight.
