"Upper Spring" was a spring. Since he could not see it at a glance, it was most likely buried beneath the snow surface, and Shade certainly could not spot it with his naked eye. He was fully capable of summoning flames to melt all the snow covering the ruins, but considering that the seal might be here, he did not do so.
Therefore, the only places he could quickly locate were the functional areas around the Temple and the highest peak, so Shade headed uphill with a clear objective.
The Old God Temple stood in the core area of these ruins, exactly as it had when he saw it on the Snow Mountain last time. However, Shade did not approach it and instead detoured around it from afar. He then climbed a snowy slope and arrived at the high platform behind the ruins.
The end of the snowy slope lay south of the platform, while the gray stone tower rose at the edge of the plaza, guarding the western side of the peak. After passing through three arches strikingly similar in design to those at the end of the Pilgrimage Road, Shade reached the edge of the plaza as well.
Snow White covered the plaza. Some of the Stone Pillars standing around its perimeter formed a ring, and in the few places where the pillars stood relatively close together, massive gray boulders connected their tops.
It was clear that hundreds of Stone Pillars had originally stood here, but only these remained now.
"Oracle Plaza? A place where ancient Supernatural Beings called upon the God of Fate to descend."
Though he sensed a solemn majesty, there were still no obvious traces of Elements here. Shade moved closer and examined the Stone Pillars. Some still-legible Ancient Language remained upon them, and he
