Miss Pawo raised a finger as she spoke. A Serpent's Shedding appeared to her right, followed by a blue ring.
"She" softly explained to Shade what had appeared in the Fate Manual:

[Effect: Those who possess this fate are unaffected by darkness, and the effects of light-based powers are enhanced.]
"I happened to acquire it a few days ago. Interesting, isn't it? At the time, I thought that the stage was inviting me to step up as an actor too, to add a little more amusement to the final story."
Miss Pawo spoke to herself, then shook her head.
"But I have no interest in this matter. The only reason I did not discard it was because I needed to face a situation like this one. God Summoner, go attend to your own affairs. I still need to wait here for that gentleman from [The All-Number-One Society] to come fulfill his agreement."
The Seventh Act had not yet ended, and Shade did not want to exchange for the [Miracle] Ring just yet.
"If you stay here, aren't you afraid of running into Mr. Snake?"
The Sorceress, who was also at the ninth ring like Shade, shook her head.
"We indeed have no friendship with something that wants to drag the world toward its end, but I am not worried about encountering it either. According to my calculations, the chance that it will trouble someone like me tonight, someone unrelated to the Fated Story, does not exceed 5.3%. It should be concentrating on preparing for the final battle right now. Though I do not know much about it, I can guess that
