Shade would not be able to visit Mr. Corps until evening, so he still went to Arcadia City during the day. This time, however, he had barely emerged from the hidden space beneath the Blue Ink Library when he sensed someone on the library's 1st Floor above him.

Shade was startled. After using Sense Space, he moved directly from underground to the alley outside the library.

He worried that a thief had paid the place a visit, but when he circled around to the library's front entrance, he immediately saw old Mr. Laibury sweeping inside the open door.

"Good morning, Mr. Laibury."

He asked, and the old gentleman immediately nodded.

"Yes. An old friend of mine told me. They all know I've been looking for that manuscript. Mr. Watson, the rest is up
