Gina continued comforting Miss Bladewei, while Shade, sitting with his arms around his knees, looked at Madam Gustav:
"You come from the Creation Church. Miss Bladewei's origins are no problem, but she is also connected to that Ancient God. And the letter she received originally belonged to her elder sister. That person was probably a true believer in the Ancient God."
People in this world likewise despised indiscriminate believers, but if someone believed in both an Ancient God and an Old God related to that Ancient God, then there was no problem.
"It seems this Factory has conditions for selecting its invitees. But I don't understand why Gina was invited."
Shade said. Gina immediately turned and shook her head:
"I am a shallow believer in the Dragon God, the Dragon Wing Emperor. This Great One definitely has nothing to do with that Creator."
This was the Dragon's Second Son, and could be called the younger brother of the evil god, the Dragon Devouring Demon, whom Shade had encountered at Moon Bay. It was worth noting that the blessing of the Dragon's Fourth Son still remained on Shade.
But Madam Gustav pointed out:
"Gina is a mutant Ruby Dragon. Although she is pure-blooded, her bloodline has undergone a mutation. In ancient beliefs concerning the Creator God, it is generally believed that mutations in one's bloodline, especially positive ones, are related to the Creator's blessing."

"A positive mutation?"
She had never considered her bloodline mutation positive. After all, the strange scale color that set her apart from others of her race had caused her considerable suffering as a child.
"Within the Creation Church, some Witches specialize in researching bloodline mutations. They generally believe that as long as a mutation does not clearly display defects, it can be considered positive."
