After confirming long ago that they could not influence the door within themselves, the Doppelgangers had spent hundreds of thousands of years searching every corner of the Material World for a second door. After all, what they cared about was not the door itself, but the Birthing Room behind it.
Although rumors of the "Birthing Room" had always circulated secretly throughout the Material World, even when the Doppelgangers deliberately pursued them, they had never found any trace of it. It was as though Destiny had arranged for them never to touch any other door.

Even so, he could tell that the ritual was most likely genuine.
"Have you used this ritual?"
Still deep in thought, Shade asked the High-Level False Man who had opened the door. The latter nodded.
"We once gathered the materials and attempted it, but clearly, we do not meet the basic requirements for using this ritual."
"It can't be a relic?"
"No. Only legitimate descendants of races created by Ancient Gods can use this ritual. We are accidents born from the cracks between doors, not creations of the Great Ones."
By that logic, even Shade, an Outlander who was not certain to be truly human, definitely did not meet the ritual's
