Though an analysis of her mother Peggy Le May's former bank account suggested that the female Alchemist had likely accepted money from the Restorationists, Wei Ge believed it had nothing to do with politics.
So she quickly put the matter out of her mind and continued telling Shade about the wealth her ancestors had accumulated over generations. Before she passed away, she intended to add a few more things to these treasure chambers.
She did not currently possess anything especially meaningful and valuable, but thanks to Shade, she still had a long life ahead of her, so there was no need to worry about such matters yet.
Miss Lorraine was busy in the other rooms with the pendant in hand. Wei Ge explained everything earnestly, and Shade listened just as attentively. Then her voice suddenly sounded, guiding Shade to look in another direction.
