The sound of waves became the only sound in this red world. The enormous Silver Big-Headed Monster's motion of opening its mouth and craning its head toward Pink Beach seemed to slow into motion. Completely unlike the nausea and disgust that "Abomination" inspired in everyone, the thing before them looked so holy—and yet so utterly mad.
"Iluna, take them and leave first!"
Even without looking back, Shade knew that Iluna had to be among those still keeping their heads. It was absolute trust in the nineteen-year-old girl.
He did not turn around. Instead, he recalled the scene from when he had first seen this horrifying monster inside the coffin while escaping the [Foul Blood Factory]. Shade raised his right hand and drew the "Fire Seed Source" from the sand into his palm, then attached it to [Night Watchman] like a magnet:
"Moonbeam Greatsword!"
The Life Fire Seed flowed along the blade, while the burning Flame Eyes embedded themselves in the hilt. Shade gripped the magnificent runic greatsword in both hands and aimed it at the abyss-like giant mouth:
"Moonlight Ray: Third Form!"
The pure silver Moon Fire transformed into crimson because of the red Moonbeam Greatsword, then fused with the Life Fire Seed. A dazzling, glass-colored Light Cannon burst soundlessly from the beach. Thorn's memories had shown that the Fire Seed Source could harm such monsters.
But within the black mouth split open by the Abomination: Firstborn Son, the Fire Seed Source held by the [Saint Alliance] also began to glow.
Then, amid the surging waves, the blood-red light fired from the black mouth collided with Shade's glass-colored Light Cannon. The light on Shade's side visibly began to shrink backward.
