Xia Hong rebuilt Great Xia Camp after the Redwood Ridge monster’s attack, led the camp to gather supplies, and used a Small Torch to hunt Frost Beasts. Meanwhile, the grotesque attacked Big Stone Camp, and Luo Ming, Yang Ning, and Li Hu arrived to drive it off before revealing the wider world beyond the camps.

• Xia Hong used the Small Bonfire to drive off the impostor Xia Ding and his grotesque Lumber Team, then led Great Xia Camp’s survivors to Cave Four.
• Xia Hong helped the camp survive by gathering Crystal Fruit and Frost Beast meat, teaching Long Fist, and bringing Xia Chuan, Yuan Cheng, and five others toward the Lumbering Realm.
• Xia Hong confronted Wang Ming’s group from Big Stone Camp for taking Crystal Fruit from Great Xia’s territory, while Shi Qing later decided to investigate Great Xia’s Snow Mane kill.
• Xia Hong set a Small Torch between a Snow Mane and a Frost Wolf, then joined Xia Chuan and Yuan Cheng in killing the Snow Mane and bringing its meat back to camp.
• Xia Hong shared the Snow Mane meat with Great Xia Camp and opened the Lumber Team to stronger residents, showing that the camp could hunt Frost Beasts rather than scavenge.
• The Redwood Ridge grotesque controlled Xia Ding and his Lumber Team to attack Shi Qing’s group, killing most of them before a young man arrived with Li Hu and Luo Ming.
• Yang Ning and his companions drove off the Wood Puppet Grotesque, then told Shi Qing that the Ice Abyss held nine major camps and that Beishuai Town’s camps each had over one hundred thousand people.

Xia Hong strengthened Great Xia Camp, survived a Frost Beast attack, and rescued Big Stone Camp after the Wood Puppet Grotesque slaughtered its people. After learning the grotesque had infiltrated Rogue Camp, Xia Hong set out to warn and protect Luo Ming’s camp.

• Yang Ning explained the Ancient Abyss Era and grotesques to Luo Ming and Shi Qing, then agreed to help destroy the Wood Puppet Grotesque if the surrounding camps obeyed his commands.
• Xia Hong persuaded Great Xia Camp to keep sharing Frost Beast Meat, then led a team to investigate Big Stone Camp’s missing lumber team and found several bodies with strange fatal wounds.
• Xia Hong upgraded the Small Bonfire into an Iron Smelting Furnace, trained the camp, and led its defense when a six-horned Golden-Eyed Demonic Sheep smashed into their cave.
• Xia Hong and the others killed the beast, but a specter disguised as Wang Ping attacked them before Fire Condensing Oil burned it away.
• Yang Ning and Li Hu’s repeated attempts to draw out the Wood Puppet Grotesque cost the surrounding camps many fighters, and Shi Qing withdrew from the hunt with Shi Dong.
• Shi Qing met Xia Hong while gathering Crystal Fruits, then led the false Shi Dong back to Big Stone Camp, where the Wood Puppet Grotesque bound and slaughtered the residents.
• Xia Hong tracked the creature to Big Stone Camp, cut through its threads, killed the fake Shi Dong, and helped Shi Qing evacuate 187 survivors after 132 people died.
• Shi Qing revealed that the Wood Puppet Grotesque had entered Rogue Camp disguised as Shi Dong, so Xia Hong sent the survivors toward Great Xia Camp and hurried north with Xia Chuan and five others.
