"Sasori, where are we going? Wasn't the mission already completed?" Deidara asked Sasori beside him, his hands behind his head.
"We're going to clean up a traitor within the organization," Sasori said blandly in his aged voice as he walked slowly.
"I see. Fine, as long as I get to display my art. Let the people of the Land of Grass experience that fleeting splendor!" Deidara raised both hands, visibly excited.
Sasori glanced at him. "Eternal beauty is art."
Deidara was displeased upon hearing that and retorted, "Sasori, although I greatly respect you as a fellow creator of art, your understanding of art is terrible, isn't it? Art should clearly be the beauty of a single instant, hmm."
After saying that, Deidara nodded in agreement with himself.
"What did you say? I think you're the one who doesn't understand the true meaning of art. How can something that fades away be art? Especially something like yours that can't even preserve a single instant."
The two argued incessantly about art along the way as they continued toward Kusagakure.
The following afternoon, the two arrived near Kusagakure.
"Deidara, blow open the ground around here. That rat should be hiding nearby," Sasori said to Deidara beside him.
The moment Deidara heard that, he became excited.
"Hahaha! Let me show them what true art is!"
Deidara then reached into a small pouch at his waist. The mouths on his hands bit off and chewed a piece of Explosive Clay from the pouch, then formed it into a small white bird.
Deidara tossed the little bird onto the ground. It instantly enlarged, and he leaped onto the giant bird's back. Sasori likewise stepped onto its back.
The white bird carried Deidara and Sasori high into the sky. Deidara then reached into his pouch of Explosive
