Cosmo initially approaches Bai Ge with relaxed curiosity. He descends to investigate how a lower-dimensional civilization surpassed its scientific apex, rather than immediately deleting Earth. 585

He is intelligent, observant, and familiar with higher-dimensional politics; he sees through Bai Ge's attempt to convince him that a higher-dimensional traitor is backing the lower-dimensional side. 588 However, his caution becomes extreme after Bai Ge repeatedly exploits his assumptions. Rather than risk another trap, Cosmo eventually chooses to remain passive under Dimensional Protection and await reinforcements. 595 596

Though he begins by treating Bai Ge as a containment anomaly to be controlled, Cosmo comes to respect Bai Ge's endurance and ultimately argues that he should be captured alive rather than immediately destroyed. 591 604

Descent to Earth

Cosmo introduces himself as one of Earth's administrators, explaining that higher-dimensional beings created this Earth as a simulation and later allowed it to develop freely. He visits to study Bai Ge's apparent breakthrough beyond the scientific apex. 585

He is curious about lower-dimensional scientific development because many supposedly fundamental higher-dimensional theories—including the Big Bang and black holes—remain speculative or unproven in his own dimension. 585

The Flying Spaghetti Monster Incident

After Bai Ge presents the Flying Spaghetti Monster as the true Creator, Cosmo uses his power to locate it and bring it to the Genesis Plot. He witnesses it drunkenly create a universe and is forced to acknowledge its status as a Creator. 586

Bai Ge exploits Cosmo's focus on the Flying Spaghetti Monster to make him lower his mental Dimensional Protection. The resulting Super Dimensional Information Overlay partially replaces Cosmo's thoughts with a backup of Bell's consciousness, though Cosmo remains conscious and retreats back into protection. 587

Conflict with Bai Ge

Bai Ge’s Dimensional Lockdown cuts off Cosmo's contact with the higher dimension, leaving him trapped until his scheduled retrieval. Cosmo rejects Bai Ge's attempt to blame the situation on higher-dimensional internal conflict and instead identifies Bai Ge as a deliberate manipulator. 588

Once Cosmo identifies the existence of containment items, he offers Bai Ge protection and cooperation in exchange for surrender. Bai Ge refuses, arguing that containment is ultimately enforced by strength rather than negotiation. 589 590

Cosmo escalates to direct force, unleashing increasingly greater portions of his power, seizing the Divine Sword, and attempting to break Bai Ge's defenses. 591 594

Five-Day Deception

Bai Ge and She trick Cosmo into believing that the Divine Sword is lethal and that their survival depends on limited-use Death Evasion Orders and a Background Music containment item. In reality, the sword's mercy effect prevents its holder from killing anyone. 592 593

As Cosmo increases his power to overcome the supposed defenses, he exposes more non-vital body matter to Information Override. Bai Ge's real objective is Cosmo's camera, a higher-dimensional object capable of bypassing Dimensional Protection. 593 595

After Bai Ge steals the camera and uses it to wound him, Cosmo realizes that he has been manipulated for five days and suffers a mental collapse. 595

Reinforcements and Aftermath

Cosmo refuses to gamble further against Bai Ge, choosing to remain protected and wait for his teammates. Wembley and Paul eventually find him in Bai Ge's Cube Maze. 596 601

Cosmo warns the arriving administrators not to underestimate Bai Ge and shares his accumulated intelligence. 601 Even after his ordeal, the residual influence of Bell's overlaid consciousness contributes to Cosmo's desire to have Bai Ge taken alive. 603 604

After Bai Ge becomes the Setting Weaver and destroys Caesar's containment unit, Cosmo becomes increasingly unstable as Bai Ge openly admits that much of his story was fabricated. 605 Bai Ge later uses Cosmo as the target of a dimensional retrieval trait, exposing the information of Cosmo's home dimension. 606
