Charlie was still fully conscious when she was rescued. She had not even suffered excessively severe injuries.
One of her ears had been cut off, one side of her nostril had been torn open, and several of her teeth had been pulled out.
Two of her fingers had been severed, and some parts in private areas of her body had been damaged or cut off.
It was clear that Scarface was an expert. His methods were extremely vicious: they did not endanger the victim's life, while inflicting the greatest possible physical and psychological pain.
When Charlie came out, she saw the group of people lying on stretchers.
There were not many survivors left: Scarface, the slightly dark-skinned woman, and two middle-aged men. Everyone else had been shot full of holes during the first thirty seconds.
Bullets and ricochets had made nowhere safe. Even these four survivors had only lived because their "companions" had helped them.
Charlie looked at them, then turned and grabbed the Blackstone Security Supervisor. Staring at him with bloodshot, congested eyes, she said, "You have to save them, no matter how much it costs. I'll pay!"
She gripped him so tightly that his arm felt constricted. If they had not known their relationship, anyone would have thought they were accomplices.
But the supervisor knew why Charlie was making this demand. He nodded, and at his signal, a Field Operations employee left with the doctor.
The client wanted revenge. That would not be too much of a problem.
Of course, there might be some trouble with the paperwork, but the people above would presumably handle it.
Afterward, the homeowner's family was found and brought out of the Storage Room. Apart from the Homeowner's somewhat pale complexion, his wife and child had only suffered some fright.
