Along the Border Line, Blackstone Security's Field Operations employees in Snowfield Battle Suits advanced steadily and methodically. Every potential target was warned first. If they refused to cooperate, the next thing coming was a volley of ammunition.

A young man carrying a rifle as he walked among the group was breathing somewhat heavily. Every breath sent a large cloud of white vapor spraying from his mouth. Clearly, he was getting tired.

There was nothing he could do about it. The weather here was simply too cold—more than twenty degrees below zero. If he did not want to die from losing his body heat, the best solution was to dress warmly.

To dress warmly, he had to wear more clothes. Before lighter and thinner insulating materials were invented, cotton was the best insulation available.

But cotton... was heavy, too.

With the addition of various weapons and equipment, everyone was carrying a considerable load.

The young man could not help complaining to the Chief beside him. "I'm not used to working in front of cameras. Are they going to broadcast this footage?"

Quite a few cameras were operating behind them. Some of the battle footage they recorded would be sent to the Department of Defense, then edited into a set of training materials.

These training materials would ultimately be used to teach junior officers, helping them understand the role of squad-sized units in battle, as well as how to cooperate.

Someone was responsible for observation, someone for sniping, someone for breaking through, and someone for providing fire support...

Everyone had their own position and their own duties.

These recordings allowed junior officers to understand all this more directly. After joining the military, they would be able to integrate their subordinates' strength more quickly and turn it into combat power.
