At daybreak, Asier arrived at the market to see what kind of work he could find.
He had originally run a huge farm, but after the Peng Joe Army landed and rapidly advanced, the Mid-Eastern Region of Nagaril was quickly occupied.
Nagaril was split into two parts.
One part was controlled by the New Nagaril Federation—or, in reality, jointly controlled by the Federal Government and the United Development Company.
The other part fell under the control of the Peng Joe Military Group.
Because everything had developed so quickly, the Peng Joe mechanized divisions had not stopped after landing. They had charged straight toward more distant areas at full speed, which was why the eastern part of Nagaril had fallen so quickly!
They had a complete system of warfare. By the time the Peng Joe Military Group's frontline forces landed in eastern Nagaril,
their vanguard troops had already established outposts in the Mid-Eastern Region.
By the time the Federal Government reacted, began sending reinforcements, and mobilized the local garrisons, most of the Mid-Eastern Region had already been lost! The Peng Joe Military Group had also begun shifting from offense to defense. They needed to completely digest the territory they had swallowed before they could continue expanding outward! Since the territory had been lost so quickly, the Federal Government, to prevent the farmland, mines, and factories trapped in the Peng Joe Military Group's occupied territory from becoming a form of aiding the enemy, bombed those industries and facilities!
They dropped Incendiary Bombs to burn vast stretches of wheat fields that were about to be harvested, and used aerial bombs to destroy huge mining areas and factories! Unfortunately, Asier's farm was also inside the occupied zone, and it was completely burned down.
