"Failed..."
The Great Imperial Son sat on the sofa, watching the report on television. He was not too disappointed, nor did he look panicked.
A deputy standing beside him lowered his head, his face slightly flushed. He looked deeply ashamed.
"Yes, Your Highness. They failed."
The Great Imperial Son swirled the wineglass in his hand. "Why? The report on television made it look as if everything had gone very successfully. So why did they fail?"
Those reporters with noses as keen as hunting dogs had arrived at the scene at once and filmed a great deal of footage.
The footage showed the right side of a sedan being rammed by a large truck into the display window of a store.
The front of the sedan was jammed in place, raised high into the air.
From the footage, it was clear that the sedan had completely lost its ability to move. The cracked glass looked as though it would shatter into pieces at the slightest poke.
Under such circumstances, they had still failed. Besides displeasure, the Great Imperial Son felt a little curious.
The deputy gave a simple explanation. "Lin Qi's sedan was specially made... We tried to break it open, but it was useless."
"The shotgun he used could even punch through steel plates at close range, but it was completely helpless against that glass."
"He tried and concluded that there was no way to get Lin Qi out, so he withdrew immediately."
"After all, you are still within the Federation. Your safety is our top priority!"
They fired three shots in total at the already shattered glass. The broken glass remained broken glass, but it had still completed its mission intact.
The person in charge of the operation withdrew directly. He did not stay and try any other way
