Gardon's idea was very practical. He had not immediately wanted to accomplish something great; instead, he wanted to travel around and see the world.
He was indeed outstanding, and he had proven it. Unfortunately, Mr. Simon had never seen it.
If he had, perhaps he would have changed his attitude toward Gardon somewhat and would no longer have been so cold.
But in the end, he would never get the chance to see it.
Gardon's idea suited him very well. Lin Qi told him that he could call him if he ran into any trouble. As for going outside to look around,
traveling or simply wandering around, he did not need any help with that.
These were all basic parts of life, and also part of Gardon's process of integrating into life in the Federal Government.
In the past, he had been part of the Privileged Class. He could do nothing at all and still have everything revolve around him.
But now he had fallen from the clouds and returned to the ground. He had to experience those things himself.

Over the weekend, the atmosphere throughout the world had become extremely tense and solemn, yet in the Federal Government, there was still not the slightest sense of tension.
Evan Agent spent the final two days feeling anxious. Noel also sent word that Lin Qi would meet him on Saturday morning.
As an agent of the Bureau of Anti-Organized Crime Investigation, taking the initiative to approach Lin Qi, who had numerous ties to criminal organizations, was not a wise decision.
Fortunately, Evan Agent had not displayed any particular inclination before this. Combined with the fact that he had passed the annual internal reviews without a problem, no one kept a constant eye on him.
Even so,
