Facing one's true self with courage was, in itself, a display of personal charm.
When Conner openly admitted that he would also use some underhanded methods, quite a few people actually began supporting him.
He believed he would be much cleaner than the others when it came to comparing who was worse, and that confidence made some people feel he might really be cleaner than the rest.
At least, that was how it looked for now.
Meanwhile, his opponents had already begun anxiously using methods like "slander" to manufacture Black Materials about him. They were panicking!
Groupthink was once again guided with precision. Many politicians sitting in front of their televisions realized that this crisis had allowed Conner to pull through.
The next month would be the most intense one yet!
The Presidential Debate, and the final opportunity to stab each other in the back!
Why did so many Black Materials get exposed at the very last moment?
Because if the Black Materials were exposed too early, the Campaign Team of the presidential candidate involved would have plenty of time to come up with a countermeasure.
They could even create a new focal point to bury the unfavorable public opinion.
But if the bomb went off at the very end, they would have no time to deal with it, while the first wave of public opinion would also have the strongest impact on people.
They might hesitate for even a moment while deciding how to vote, causing their original intentions to change.
For the remainder of the program, it was more like a promotion of Conner's political views. Many of Momo's questions seemed extremely cutting to everyone, such as, "Would you lie to us like the other presidents do?" and things like that.
Conner got through all those questions smoothly.
