Early the next morning, Michael left home early without even eating breakfast.

He still had some connections in Sabine City, more or less. At least, that was what he believed.

He went straight to the Sabine City Federal Revenue Service. It was not some "restricted area" where people were forbidden to enter.

On the contrary, individuals and companies alike were welcome to come directly to the counter to fill out tax forms or ask about tax-related matters.

After all, not everyone could clearly understand that even "gifts between friends" had to pay taxes!

Michael arrived early and found a seat. He was not there to file taxes, much less to ask questions.

They were now dressed in polished, impressive suits. Each carried a calfskin briefcase in one hand and a five-dollar coffee from a chain store outside in the other as they chatted and walked in.

"Hey!" he called out their names, and the two men stopped.

After the six eyes met, it took them a moment to recognize Michael!

"My God, it's you!" The two men approached one
