Standing in the middle of the crowd, listening to their cheers and feeling their emotions, Ms. Tracy thoroughly enjoyed the moment! She had no idea exactly how many people had come, but everywhere she looked, there were people. She could see nothing else.
Every word she said and every move she made made her the focus of these people's attention. She loved this feeling! She had loved it ever since elementary school!
It was fascinating, intoxicating!
"You put that so well, Ms. Tracy! I support you!" A member of the audience who had come to hear the speech shoved his way through the surging crowd to the very front.
He was a man who looked to be around fifty, and he was extremely agitated. Waving his arms, he loudly voiced his support and admiration for Ms. Tracy. "I'll support you forever!"
Ms. Tracy smiled and expressed her thanks, after which the man was pushed aside. More newcomers squeezed forward and chatted with Ms. Tracy about their thoughts.
It had been a highly successful speech. Its central message was "Women should have political power," rather than "I want to enter Congress."
This seemingly selfless performance and speech resonated with many people. Interestingly, there were also quite a few middle-aged men in the audience, and they were supporters of Ms. Tracy as well.
Though they were men, they believed that equality of power was indeed very important.
When Ms. Tracy left the venue, she would occasionally pause at the edge of the passageway to exchange a few words with her supporters or shake their hands.
She knew how to handle such occasions. She was very good at it.
Only after she entered the modified car did the smile completely leave her face, replaced by an expressionless calm.
She kicked off her high
